I'm going to be pulling the trigger soon on 4x4TruckLEDs.com's triple Diode Dynamics. Right now I'm stock except I have SS3 spots up on the pillars I use off road and to spot deer on sparse country roads.

I just dont want to double cover as far as lights. Im planning for the SS3 SAE white and yellows and then SSC2 driving.

First, would the SSC2 be good for flood/cornering purposes? I'd like more lights out to the sides that are bright enough for cornering on dark roads but inoffensive to other drivers.

Second, I'm going to be wiring one pair up to the stock fog button. Not sure if the SSC2 or white SS3 fog yet. Any suggestions? Id like the button for the pair I'm going to be using the most/with my headlights as driving lights. Ssc2 seem more useful and won't outshine stock headlights as much as the fogs so I was leaning toward them.

So with this setup I have far out spots, up close floods/cornering, and fogs for both regular and adverse use.

Thanks

Honestly the whole idea is FOGS down there for that wide pattern. You don't have any fogs right now.

Soo depending on which bracket you get, your lights will be different.

If you're going for the Flush kit... well
https://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-...ckets-for-2021-ford-bronco-hd-modular-bumper/

SS3 Combo
SSC2 White Fog
SSC2 Yellow Fog

Is great. You have white and yellow fogs and then the combos give you driving/flood for off-road use.

OR if you are opting for our open style brackets
https://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-...ckets-for-2021-ford-bronco-hd-modular-bumper/

SS3 White Fog
SS3 Yellow Fog
SSC2 Combo

Honestly the SSC2 won't do a whole lot since it'll get overpowered by the A-pillars you have and the SS3 Fogs... but ya gotta throw SOMETHING in there. OR you can do our dual kit and not have to worry about the 3rd light. You can do 2x SS3

Was gonna go for the open style Brackets. Honestly I was thinking using the ssc2 combo for regular driving with the headlights. I just dont want to have the lights in the bumper overpower my headlights in day to day driving. But do they cast light out to the sides well?

I was thinking of reserving use of the ss3 fogs for Off-Road and actual crappy weather. Probably run them with the main headlights off when needed on road.

Or is that dumb?

I have this setup: (1st Pair: SS3 Max, White SAE Fog (+$300), 2nd Pair: SSC2 Pro, White Combo (+$100), 3rd Pair: SSC2 Pro, Yellow SAE Fog (+$100), Upgrade SS3 to Backlit Version: Yes (+$40)

I'll say that even after readjusting the SAE SS3, I still get flashed often so they're relegated to just occasional use.

I ended up buying FORM projectors and those did way more for overall light output and some throw to the sides, I wish I had started there. @4x4TruckLEDs.com was great getting both orders in! The KR brackets are top notch

Forgive me, what's a form projector? And yes that's why I was going to use the ssc2 as the daily driving lights

I have Diode Dynamics on my F350 and SxS. They have been flawless. For the Bronco my OCD wanted 3 cubes of the same size in the modular pocket. For this reason I chose Baja Designs. The BD case is .25” smaller than the DD. SVP triple bracket and harness. The SAE projectors are controlled by factory switch. The combo, amber and LP4 on A pillar are all on upfitters.

So you can't use anything but FOGS on a public road. They are the only street legal lights. I know what you're thinking "The SAE Driving are legal" but yes and no. Only if used as a headlight replacement/high beam. You can't drive down the road with other cars with Driving either.

Fogs won't overpower headlights. Different kind of lights. SAE Fogs are... well fog lights. Nice and wide. Completely different pattern over headlights.

I ran SS3 Max Fog on my truck and had no issues overpowering anything.

Odd. I figured the ssc2 would be more lower power than the ss3 max fogs and better on the road. Maybe I'll start with the two pack then.

Yes SSC2 are low power. But honestly the SSC2 don't throw a LOT of light out.

If you were going to do it go with

SS3 Combo
SSC2 Pro White Fog
SSC2 Pro Yellow Fogs

Installed by @4x4TruckLEDs.com at their shop. Great work. I went with BD. S2 Pro Amber wide cornering for fogs, Squadron Pro clear driving combo and Amber spot in the bumper and Squadron Pro clear spot on A pillars. @4x4TruckLEDs.com is definitely the place to go for either purchase, install or both!

I cannot possibly express how much I love your post and those pictures. You managed to perfectly capture just how clean our patented plug-and-play harness system really is. And you're correct about the Baja Designs lights having a less bulky casing, so they do fit extremely well into that pocket with the larger lights without losing light to the pocket.

If we can ever assist you with anything else, feel free to reach out to me anytime by call or text at 317-934-6778 and I'll gladly assist with putting together some special pricing on any lighting and wiring you need.

Thanks again for sharing those pictures!
If it's okay with you, I'd love to steal a couple of your images to possibly use for demos or posts.
Please let me know your thoughts!
