I'm hoping for one of these companies just to come up with an overlay for the grill molded in either white, silver/argent, or black that would not cover the outside edge of the factory grill and have the Ford lettering.
I have been following the progress of this potential mod, and after seeing the Heritage grill reveal this morning, I'm back to this one for good!
I am disappointed that the Heritage grille is more of a "flat surface" design (similar to that of the Badlands/WT grille) in that surface of the slots/louvers is not recessed inward from the perimeter of the grille, giving the grille a quality of depth that is present on the OG grille. The Delfab design (and the Base/BD, and the OBX) feature the louvered surface recessed from the perimeter surface to allow more pronounced visual separation for a multiple-tone paint job (e.g., the example in post #82 of this thread).
I would be interested in this grill (if it is still happening). If not I guess I will try to modify one to match as I want to change my Badlands grill.
ok just heard from Kyle - plans are still to bring this to market - if you can wait, i would. i don't have a Bronco yet so it's a no-brainer for me LOL
agree with most prev posts. I'd buy this. My budget is 500-ish. It has to accommodate the camera. The color-keyed bezel is the trick. I'm guessing this means it will require custom paint.
But I'm still on board because it is the best looking option I have seen yet.
