Delivery Date Problems

Turned my lease in back in August thinking we would get Broncos by March, good thing I work from home or I would have been in trouble. Still going to be highly inconvenient.

I reserved my OBX in July so I should get it in 2021, looks like June -July time frame from best questimate . The problem is my lease on my Hellcat is up in 141 days, March 18th 2021. I remember when I first ordered that the thought was they would be delivered March-April- or maybe as lae as May timeframe. Now, I could be without a car for 3-4 months and I do not think I can realistically do that.

Anyone in the same boat? I could possibly extend my lease month to month but I need to check if that is an option. Anyone have a solution?

I love the this new Bronco and really want to make it work.

I paid off my ford focus two years early to do this. I gave my car to my daughter. So I am carless until Bronco delivery.

If you start saving now you can turn in the lease and buy a beater cash and drive it till the bronco arrives and trade it in not really caring what they give you for it...

I sold my Xterra early this month (The iron was hot/there was an offer I couldn't refuse, etc etc). I'm working from home right now so it's not a huge deal. Plus, my friend has an Xterra that was basically just sitting. So now it's basically just sitting ... in my driveway ... as a grocery getter.

I do worry that if Bronco deliveries stretch out, he may decide he wants to sell it before I take delivery but I'm using his vehicle for free so I'll cross that road if I come to it.

So in other words,if you have a July time stamp you can expect on June/July delivery ?

Ill check with Dodge. Best bet is a lease extension. Some creative ideas though.

What makes your think because you reserved in July you will get it by next June or July. I wouldn’t bet on that until you figure out how people are gaming the system

Don't know yet, just guessing. Reservations after Sept 18th will be 2022 models (according to ford) and that is usually later in the year when they arrive on the lot.

Go buy a $500 used Ford Ranger or something just to get you buy . Hell , I still drive my '91 Ranger that has 327,000 miles on it to work every day . I probably won't do any different when I get the Bronco
