Never driven in a Badlands, but I have been impressed from the growl of the Engine and Exhaust from my Wildtrak from Day one. I assumed all Broncos with the 2.7 sounded like this.

You were definitely lucky! I just want to know how to make it work in my Badlands too! My bet is LUX package

i have a badlands w/ lux but i can say when i removed all my speakers to swap them i ran to the store with the bronco and it had no speakers except the subwoofer. Engine sounded exactly the same as before i removed the speakers. i'm not sure it could pump noise with no speakers in the rig. I had to go pick up some foam to go around the bottom of the of the speakers before i bolted them in.

It has carpeting if you choose leather seats. The wash out flooring only comes with MGV.

Oh dang. Leather and carpet?! No thanks.

I need to test drive a LUX Badlands or Wildtrak at some point…

The interior exhaust noise is pleasant but fake from the speakers.

I too have that deep growl. Sounds too good to be true.
Then I open the door stick my head out and listen, it sounds like shit.

I test drove a wildtrack and heard engine noises that didn't quite match when pressing the gas. Sounds like fake noises being played that someone screwed up the timing for. I hope my wildtrack doesn't sound like that.

driven my wildtrak for 5 months and no fake sounds that I notice….
