Wondering if anyone has made a garage storage rack for the Hard Top (4 pieces)? For around town trips, I'd love to take them off, slide them into some sort of storage rack for short trips and just head out vs putting them in the bags in the back and taking up all the space. Thinking I'd build it out of cheap plywood then cover it in something like this to keep it from scratching.

That would require quite a bit of depth unless you plan on building a frame around the bronco and drive under the rack. I suspend mine from the ceiling with a hoist and then use a floating shelf as a safety.

I had earlier used a pulley system that was designed to stow away rooftop pods, and while it worked decent, I was always a little worried that it would come crashing down on me. Just last week, I picked this up from Amazon for $200 and it fits the 2 front and large middle pieces on top and I can connect the HT shell underneath it with some straps. It is super sturdy (holds 300 lbs) and I just hook my power drill up to it and it stows away in 30 seconds.

Right now I have the shell on my Bronco, but the other 3 pieces are tucked away safe and sound and won't come down and splat on top of my wife's car. So far I love it. I can post pics in a bit.

I built this for my 2-Door Badlands based on a 4-Door design someone had posted earlier for transporting my doors to/from my parking garage (I live in a high rise, so don't have a dedicated garage space).

Basically it's some SCH40 PVC pipe, a furniture dolly, and some pool noodles. Ran about $85 in parts.

Thanks all, I was thinking of wall mounted, so the panels (not the back obviously) but the 2 front and mid panels sit flush agains the wall to save on storage.
