I live for DIY projects. Here's a few of my projects since I picked up my Bronco in October '21.

Diode Dynamics fog light mounts (no pics)
Diode Dynamics Stage Series light bar brackets (before any others were available to buy)
Fridge slide (wood build with aluminum trim, only 1 pic in my phone)
Rear drop down table
Custom Bash Bar (I am a very basic welder, but it works lol)
Fuel can mount (own design, but similar to what Hammer built does now)
And a cargo area switch panel for cargo lights, amber and white, with some usb ports (don't have any pics, but let me know if anyone is interested in that setup)

Always on the lookout for something else to build.

Next on my to do list:
Rear cargo shelf (similar to JCR style)
Removeable passenger side low step to bolt onto stock sliders for the wifey
possibly full width rear floor cargo slide
possibly gullwing windows in the near future

I like the addition to the RC door brace for extra gass.

I remounted my fire extinguisher to the outside of the roll bar .
My 140 lb dog kept knocking it loose.

I have yet to receive my bronco ,and I have read so many posts of custom parts orders and installed on your new rides.
As a fabricator and a tinkerer I can't leave my stuff stock.
I have some parts bought and ready to install , but the thing what I really want is to start to do is build new parts just for the Bronco.
I did see a post about a front license plate mount for the modular bumper and I haven't been able to locate it again.
I would love to see what you builders are up to . I wish to see more of the DIY stuff not how deep your wallet is .

I'm waiting on mine but I plan to build some parts.
- aluminum front plate holder
- aluminum antenna mount at the drivers mirror/A pillar. I made a stainless bracket last night but I'm redoing it out of aluminum, different design, and painting it black.
- stainless steel skid plates. I have some left over stainless sheet metal so why not!
- shovel mount for spare tire.

And, I'm building an aluminum utility trailer to make use of the factory wheels. It will have the same track and width as the bronco. I don't have a use for it other than I think it's a fun project and why not use those wheels!

Haven’t made anything yet, but I’m working on a few. Has been pretty tough for the past few months to find time to actually achieve any of them. I broke the plastic pieces that hold the strap for lifting the rear floor panel (for accessing the Jack and cubby), but I’m hoping to get a replacement made today. It’ll only be 3 little sheet metal pieces, but it’s a start. Well, I did make an extended ball mount for the hitch…

Done, sorta. Thought I had some blind standoffs and was aiming for the flush look on top. Turns out I didn’t, so I’d have been better off putting the screws in from the top. Maybe I’ll fix it another time.

Built my own winch bumper that works with ACC, parking sensors and is not massive.

Also made a rack for my maxtrax of the rear swing gate

Some of my diy additions

I'm planning on the paracord handles as well - what length nylon insert did you go with and what length on the paracord? Did you use a grommet at the bolt on point?

I wish I had kept notes, I started with a looped core with the length I liked the started tying knots.
As for the ends it's 2 loops of 550 paracord with just enough for the screws.
