Do I need new TPMS when upgrading?

My Bronco will be here between 12/2 - 12/8 and I am about to order a set (5) of Kenda Klever AT2 to replace the weak looking stock tires that comes on the BB. A local shop is running a special where mount and balance is free so I am looking at around $1100 for all 5 285/70/17's...but do I need to order anything else like TPMC's or will I be good to go. Also, I will be selling the stock tires for hopefully $100 per. Thanks for the help.

Are you asking about the TPMS? If you're just changing tires out, then no. The TPMS can be kept in place and reused with the new tire set.

Thank you...that makes sense now that they would be if I was replacing the entire wheel but since I am just replacing the tire the TPMS would stay put.

If you were replacing the wheels too then the TPMS could be removed from your current set and reused. However you'd need to pay to unmount and remount the existing set in order to sell them so I'd just buy a fresh set of TPMS in that case.

Just moved my TPMS sensors from stock wheel set to another. No need to buy another set unless you feel so inclined.

TPMS are cheap. I think bronco uses the same ones from the F150 and you can get 4 F150 tmps for $50 all day long.
