I would say yes. The OEM rock sliders have studs that align with the pinch weld.

It always surprises me when people throw out their trim like it's a totally different vehicle.

If you want something that covers up the pinch welds AND actually does something worthwhile, there are alot of choices of aftermarket rails and as long as they are body mounted, they are probably also bolting to the pinch weld and thus hiding it.

I personally have and love Bodyguard rails. Not only do the cover the weld, they act like a mud flap and a step.
