The cameras are one of the best off road features on this vehicle. The visibility you get allows me to feel safer when I am off road and in limited visibility situations. To me, it’s well worth the cost.
I’ve been in so many situations where all I can see out the windshield is sky, but I can still see the trail on the screen.

Has anyone found a way to record the video from the existing cameras?

I know dashcams are cheap, but if the vehicle already has cameras, there's got to be a way to access the video and record it on a memory card or hard drive.

I use them off-roading all the time. So much, that I wish I could keep the camera on while in 4H. Only 4L let’s you keep the trail cams on while driving.
In mud and ruts my front cam stays on in 4hi.

I was out this past weekend with my son, who’s 7. So he wasn’t doing any spotting..

I used my Front camera a bunch to line up rocks in the trails I was doing. It helped a ton honestly. I have used the 360° one in the past for you U-turns

I use mine a fair amount wheeling around the Rockies in Colorado. Steep inclines (as noted), narrow shelf roads where erosion has occurred. Backing off a ledge where I parked for a dope photo op, etc. I would add to cart again if I had to do it all over. I find them useful.

I use it often and find I have to get out of the vehicle much less often. Here is the exact scenario its great for. having said that If anything looks off then get out and check.

Every car should have one for parking. No joke!

I'd just like to find a way to override the speed limit on the camera.

For these off you with High and above, do you actually use the trail cameras when off road? The cameras are cool and all, but I have to wonder if I'd actually use them. For example, my cell phone can do all kinds of crazy things, but I only use about half of them.

I bought a mid package bronco. My order with Lux got scheduled today. So just trying to figure out whether to keep my current or trade it in on my order. My dealer is one of the good ones, so want to let them know pretty soon what i'm doing.

I use mine quite a bit while off-roading. I use the overhead and the predicted tire path screens for line choices. Front camera is crucial for seeing whats in front when cresting a steep incline. Its like having an onboard spotter.

My son and I go out about twice a month. We've been using different camera views and both agree that they really help. A fair number of times, it saves one of us having to exit the vehicle to spot. Sometimes we use the forward view to keep an eye on obstacles as they get out-of-sight from inside the Bronco. My favorite is the view that shows the tires, as this is really helpful when try to place a wheel precisely on a rock or to avoid the sidewall from grazing a rock. If you're not managing rocks or other obstacles when off-roading, the cameras wouldn't be as helpful.

Sometimes we use the camera view when parking as well.

My cameras come on in 4H all day long. I DO use the dial to go into 4wd though. But the cameras are super useful.

Almost constantly for wheel placement in tight chutes and rocks, and steep climbs/whoops. As long as you use goat modes, you can leave it on full time in 4H.

I’ve got more than 3,000 miles off road with 500 of those being jeep trails with my Bronco. Nothing really extreme, just backcountry travel in the western mountains. Before that I’ve got 45+ years (damn I’m getting old...) of driving experience. My only good use for the cameras is when I’m on a road with a steep break over and can’t see what’s on the other side for a while. Never knew if there was a road or a cliff coming up but in the previous 45 years that never turned out to be a cliff so although the cameras can add a level of comfort I don’t think there’s really a need for them. Never needed cameras to avoid rocks that I know are there and I also really dislike parking sensors and have no use for back up cameras when I’m backing down a boat ramp or a trailer into a camp spot. Maybe it’s just my age….

I use them off road in tight areas. Used them recently in Ouray when having to hug the side of a shelf road so others could pass. They come in handy in places like Moab where you only see blue sky out of your windshield as well.

I’ve used it numerous times for tire placement when riding solo or just for a quick view.
It’s not a need, but it’s nice
