@rcl4668 : I have this style lightbar, but I have the radiance version of it. Not sure if this one is the same, I cannot tell by the description, the difference is that my lightbar has several colours for backlight, (Crayon Box) and it does indeed put out a lot of light. It goes right where this one is connected. It is on my Aux 1 for the lights and Aux 5 for the Backlighton my RIG

Thank you so much! If it's not too much trouble, would you mind posting a picture of the bar from the side so i can see how much the bar or the mounting brackets rise above the top of the OEM roof rack?

Thanks, I appreciate it. The version I am considering is the one that mounts to the top front of the OEM roof rack. Looks like you have the version that mounts to the top of the roof.

Hey OP: in your link I see they have a Q&A section. You should ask there, I bet they know the answer.

Thanks so much! So I zoomed in to the image and as far as I can tell, the actual bar and brackets do not seem to add any vertical height to the OEM roof rack. Is that right?

The link I posted mentions that it was designed to minimize wind noise but I don't have any firstand experience. My other questions is that I assume the wiring has to be routed through the roof panels. For those who have the lightbar does this prevent or interfere with the ability to remove the roof panels for open air driving?

Honestly I drove it home from the dealership I work at and installed alot off accessories right away including this light bar. I was stock piling for a bit.

Having said that, I knew that getting into a vehicle with a removable roof was going to be on the loud side. I have to admit though i don't really notice any extra noise from the bar even with the roof off.

I also have one. There are 2 different bracket systems. One raises it above the roofline. The other is pretty much perpendicular to the roof. That is what I have installed.
