Does CSX stop tracking?

I had been checking once or twice a day myself. But if they are off the train, we wont be able to track.

I know CSX is supposed to carry the tracking all the way through. But Richmond is BNSF's automotive facility. so it's possible it moved over to them and it's on it's way up, if not here already. There is another automotive facility in Portland for BNSF. the CSX tracking mentions BNSF at the end of the message. BNSF did have a derailment down south so they may be trying to to get caught up.

@Kos was tracking for me and this morning wasn’t showing it had been unloaded yet. Also, I doubt CSX will have tracking info from the truck. Hope
I’m wrong.

What is the status on yours? Mine ended up in Kingsville, TX at some poin Mt which is damn near Mexico. Then they turned it around and it’s been in Richmond, CA for a few days now. Looks like they are unloading it there for some reason I don’t understand. I assume it’s on BNSF and they don’t want to use UP tracks. Anyhow, perhaps it’ll be trucked up to Portland where my dealer is located. This has been a mess.

Todays status in Kent WA was, Rail Car Emptied.

My train headed south from Pasco to Vancouver, WA. I think the trains split there, some cars head to Portland. Yours?

Its a long journey to the west coast! My train started on Feb 20, and Rail Car Emptied status received March 8th (today).

Its fun to plot the progress on a map. I also found that having the stops from someone in WA who plotted their rail car journey was helpful, as it allowed me to see when/where the train would be stopping over for a day or so. Especially when it arrived at the last stop...rail car sits on the side of the yard for a couple of days, then another day to Empty/ Released by Customer.

I just heard back from Damerow. Here is what their system is showing:

My system last update was yesterday and it says Richmond, CA. ETA 3/8-314. It also says "Delay-Convoy Carrier".

So it looks like we are going the rest of the way via truck with no idea about the delay or delivery time. Its already 3/10 and that "delay" may mean we are waiting longer.

Christ. That means they are sitting there for at least a week. It’s only a one day drive. I’ll see what Damerow says but I presume the same.

Yea it's a 10 hour drive one way, so..... Too bad we can't go get them. I'd car pool it with you and the other guy that's got one going to Damerow. or even just fly down and drive back up.

Assume you haven’t heard anything today. Damerow still doesn’t know anything last I heard.

yea I got nothin any more besides my dealer says the new EDD is the 21st - 27th. Now when I call CSX tracking it just says "empty, been released by the customer". So I think it's all in BNSF's hands now, or their truck, or train. there was a train that came through Canby which is a UP track, that had CSX, UP and I think BNSF automotive cars on it, but they could have been from anywhere.

Does your dealer have any new tracking information that's different than the CSX rail number?
