When Does Tracking start working?

I received my scheduling e-mail march 23rd and when I try to tracking link, I get the dreaded "We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN". I have seen from the forums this has happend to others. I have checked my vin with a vin decoder and it does match my build. My question is, when does the tracking typically start working? After scheduling or closer to my build date (May 1st)?

you talking about this page? It should start working as soon as you get a VIN.

Note that the order number its asking for is not your reservation/order number. It's looking for the four character order code from your DORA

When they actually make the Mod tops we were promised 3 years ago...


It varies but it really won't update much until your build week. I know that mine wouldn't work either using Chrome. I had to use Edge but it would work then. You can also try a couple of the backdoor tracker links in the Ordering/Production thread within the forum. Mine took about 5 days after it was built to change to built, even though all the modules popped and I had a tear tag on my blend date.

My problem with the back door links is I had no reservation and I believe a reservation number is required to use them.

I dont know then. I was scheduled the same week as you and that page worked for me since the first time I checked it.

Edit: Hmm, interesting. if I change a digit in the order number or VIN, it gives me " We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN. " so I guess that makes me feel a little better?

I’m assuming it’s just a flaw in the tracking. My build date is in 3 weeks, hopefully it will start working then.

Mine hasn’t worked either, but my dealer says as long as I have a vin, that’s my bronco.

When i had problems with the tracker, either clearing cookies or opening the page in private/incognito mode would work.

Try using the same tracker in chrome incognito mode. I still have the same issue when using chrome,but works in incognito mode..Haven't figured out why.

I was scheduled on 3/23 and my tracking still doesn't work either, regardless of browser or incognito mode.
