Does CSX stop tracking?

I called UP it says “Loaded placed at industry
At 12:05 april 26 “

“Current status load to unload”

Does anyone know what this means ?

Basically it means the trucks have been offloaded and are now waiting for the truck to pick them up and take them to the dealership. CSX says something like “car emptied , released by customer”. I could be wrong but I don’t think there is any tracking left to do with UP or CSX. My dealer said Mira Loma has been a mess and he would not be surprised if it took a week to get from Mira Loma to the dealership.

UP is good for updating ETA but that’s about it. CSX is better for tracking movement. Basically that says your ETA to the final destination is 4/26 11:29pm. CSX will tell you the last place the train was but no eta’s.

Yeah I had the same problem. Once your in Cali it goes pretty quick.

I have not. She arrived at the rail yard Sunday now I’m just waiting for the call from my dealer. Sounds like 5 days is what it’s been taking most people coming out of Mira Loma.

How do you get that map

Its a long journey to the west coast! My train started on Feb 20, and Rail Car Emptied status received March 8th (today).

Its fun to plot the progress on a map. I also found that having the stops from someone in WA who plotted their rail car journey was helpful, as it allowed me to see when/where the train would be stopping over for a day or so. Especially when it arrived at the last stop...rail car sits on the side of the yard for a couple of days, then another day to Empty/ Released by Customer.

We made them, on Google Maps.

Once you have your rail car info, you can call the CSX Railroad and it will tell you the train stops as it makes its way across the nation. Then, pinpoint them on Google Maps.
