I know you checked, but can't that jack head unit be turned around?

Okay, just so you know, there are different "hitches". The "Factory TOW hitch" is what CAME on the Bronco. The Trailer Hitch, is the hitch that is attached to the trailer. The Receiver Hitch extension, is what you need to clear a bit more space for the tongue mount etc. I found about 3 or 4 inches of extension, and/or 4 inches of drop gives enough space for the tongue clearance. 2 Inches of crop normally has you hitting the rear of the tire. Let me know how that goes. Needed to make those changes on the receive hitch for this setup as well with the Sasquatch package.

@Mickey21 do you have any further pics? I am pretty sure the receiver hitch I bought is a 2 inch drop.

I bought a utility trailer when I owned my 96 Bronco. It came with a jack in the center of the lounge like the one in the picture. The jack would hit the spare when backing the trailer. I swapped it out for one like this, that mounts to the side of the tongue and swivels out of the way when towing.

A 2 inch drop will not clear the tire. Not at the moment sorry. I went through this all as well, and had to remove the tire the first time I wanted to tow with the 2 inch drop. Not that it was too big of a deal because I happened to be home. But I didnt want to deal with that again. The 4 inch drop was also needed anyways to level out the trailer coming from a Ford Flex prior which the 2 inch was perfect for. It is not likely you will need a 2 inch if you are on Sasquatch. I would get the 4 Inch drop, its cheap anyways. I am keeping the 2 inch drop for now because I am going to upgrade the trailer tires to 35s as well, but will be changing it up by then anyways.

There is no reason to pay 79 dollars to extend it, and as mentioned lower the rating. When the 4 inch drop hitch is only $27.64. I mean, that is too cheap to worry about this stuff. Now the link I have below is for 1 7/8th trailer ball, but change to your version.

Not saying yours will be the same, but with either drop, the door clears my trailer, your results may vary.

I got the new weight distribution and sway hitch installed today. I ended up finding that the power jack head could be turned around. 👍🏻
