Appreciate ya for all this info, I am still struggling to understand the sources where everyone is getting their info. I had an email from ford for 8/19 build week, but no further details

Where are you getting your build date from, emails from ford? your dealer? from the api?

I think people are conflating build date and build week. I saw the same thing on other threads. Build week is 8/16. But based on my update the Bronco is already built. Like I said I think the scheduling information is the set expectations.

They know how pissed we are.

I obviously said it half jokingly. I really do hope this is true, I had a 7/19 build week that got pushed back to 8/16, so this means my Bronco could be shipping soon.

I'm just a little guarded to someone quoting sources without more info about said source (which I understand not wanting to get someone in trouble).

This week has been a roller-coaster of emotions...was scheduled for 7/26 week build and pushed to 8/16. Literally going from ok two more weeks to being built, to oh shit possibly not to September, to now maybe wow already built just waiting on a chip....oh man what a week on this board

Mine is MIC as well. I was told this was not a factor. I've been thinking that by time we hear about issues they are already a month passed the issue.

I get it that some are on edge and emotions are high right now but there have been some good sources on here that no longer post because to many discredit them. Right now their info can't be any worse (most likely it's better) than what Ford is giving us which is squat.

Hopefully this mess will get better and I hope you get yours soon. Mine will be a 202?.

Morning folks,

I have a direct highly placed source that gave me an update on my Bronco (original Build date late July).

My Bronco has been built and they were waiting on the chips that have now been received. I have a VIN and "build date" of 8/16 in the system.

Copy and pasting the text messages here.

Not posting the screenshots due to not wanting to get anyone in trouble. Anyone who questions this post is welcome to private message me for a call. This source is a family member.

I feel that this is good news and updates will probably be coming soon for the Summer batch.

1st text Message:
The latest news I have is your Bronco was built in July and was waiting for a semi-conductor chip. Chips have arrived, so your Bronco may have been tested and shipped. More news later.

2nd text message
Michigan Assembly won’t declare your car built until the parts they were waiting for are installed and the vehicle tested. More news later.

I've heard NOTHING from ford & it's like pulling teeth when I call the dealer. Only info I've been given is she has been produced July 23rd ,CO 2drOBX, sasquatch. When I check the tracker "In Production" is showing up,& yesterday the dealer told me to be patient & its only August (WTF thats suppose to mean,is beyond my comprehension)&I'll be given info the morning of delivery. Since you have someone high up in your back pocket,can you ask how long they sit in the yard b4 shipping? I'd greatly appreciate it! Thankyou

Personally, I am cobbling it together from at least 5/6 sources and still don't have anything I really can call definitive, multiple discrepancies from multiple sources. Not that I believe that any (automated or human) are passing bad data, but rather the data they had at the time. It's frustrating to not have one cohesive answer.

I think the chip issue is the dominant issue. MIC issue just pissed everyone off further.
