Door Locks Randomly

I figured mine out. All other doors stayed unlocked.
When driving my doors autolock. When I exit they Auto Unlock… but…..
While it’s unlocking I am exiting and fat thumbs push it locked again. Now I keep my hand away from the lock and or check it if I bump it. Just poor design location.

Unfortunately, that's not my issue; my hands don't go anywhere near the lock mechanisms (on the interior door panel or exterior door handle) when exiting the vehicle. But thats interesting that only your driver's door locks when pushing the buttons. Both my interior and exterior buttons lock all four doors.

This has baffled me for almost a year. Have had it at the dealer multiple times and they can't identify the issue. Just had my BodyCM and door modules updated on my last visit and it still occurred the second I left the dealer. I grabbed the service tech and had him sit in the vehicle with me. After demonstrating the issue 3x in a row, he pointed out that I was inadvertently pushing in the manual lock lever when I was opening the door handle.
Sigh.

Was there ever any resolution on this one? Same issue on my '23 Badlands since day 1. It's going into my dealer for the rear shock recall, so if there was a resolution I'd like to pass it on to them. Thanks!

Because the lock knob is so close to the open handle, when I pull the open handle the back of my hand, knuckles actually, pushes the lock knob. Poor design from Ford.

That would lock all doors -in these cases, only the driver door locks….

The mechanical lock rocker tab, not the electric lock button, only locks that specific door and is right next to the door handle
