I built a roof lift with a pice of electrical strut and some angle iron it bolts on in a min and I left my top off.

Do you have any pics of the angle iron piece that goes into the hardtop slot? Is it 90 degrees? I’d love to make a setup like this.

Change of plans With the addition of Jtops Bimini I could not easily use supports under the roof top, so I used some straps to hoist the roof from above...

I’ve got try and install my trailrax roof rack with the pakrax. In order to do that I need to access the rear fender bolts in between the bottom of the rear clamshell and the rear fender. Is it possible to just prop rear clamshell up a couple of inches one side at a time so I have enough room to get to the bolts? Thanks. I’m trying to see if I can do this so I don’t have to ask for help to completely remove the rear clamshell.

Yes I think you can just prop up the rear. Stuff a rolled up towel between the roof and the roll bar.

I was wondering if an engine hoist would work
what hoist are you using?

Just saw that the top lift pro for the 2 door is delayed a bit.... so I thought what else can I try. Using an engine hoist? Rig something up to mount to the top of the hoist to go under the top and lift it up?? 🤔
4 eye bolts, 4 stubs of 2x4 (temporary spacers between clamshell and body), 4 of those little hardboard angle pieces they put around sharp angles in packaging sometimes (to protect the bottom edges where the straps have to slide), and 2 cam lever straps.

Practice. Carefully. <15min

I have this Lange original Gen2 lift left over from my Jeep sale. Hoping to be able to adapt to to lift my 4door Heritage top if it ever gets built. I would also like to store the doors on the bottom somehow. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
