What about approach angle? Any better or worse with this bumper?

Thank you for sharing this!

Definitely worse, that is probably the thickest winch bumper out there....really close to the ground on a non-Sas. Looks good but not high and tight at all.

Thank you. Unfortunate. Deal breaker.

Will do, the kit should be here any day. Whether I go bumper / winch or the 37's I will need the perch collars regardless.
Hey, reading through the posts... what are perch collars you are talking about?

I'm still shopping for a front bumper that will support winch, does not block the intercooler upgrade and skid plates....

Thanks

Installed the MTO today. Only issue is It will not move towards the driver side any farther. Not too noticeable I suppose. Also installed an older XD900i winch I had lying around. Will finish running winch wires this weekend or when my bumper light get here.

Looks great! How much of the front camera is blocked? Any issues with it blocking the intercooler?

Thank you, I've been calling them levelers.
And they are "levelers" as well as a slight lift kit.
In this video the RPG Perch Collars are used to lift the
Bronco enough for 37's to be added.

It appears to not bother the intercooler at all as I did a 200 mile road trip yesterday with no noted issues, The view from the camera did get taken away some but not enough to bother me as I will use it very little. The front wheel view will get used a lot more for me. This sticks out about 5 inches farther than the mod bumper did.

I installed the DV8 OE Plus FBBR-03 front bumper with the 3" pod lights on Thursday. Was a bit of a PITA and took about 3 times longer than the 1.5 hour installation time but it's an improvement over the plastic bumper. I think it's pretty good value for $899.99.

Any conflict with the factory tow hooks or any other modification needed to replace plastic bumper? Sounds like some unexpected things must have come up

The factor tow hooks are still in place, they are more of a hassle when trying to mount the new bumper because they can restrict access and movement a bit when trying to use a wrench or ratchet. I don't have the sensors so I didn't have to fiddle with them but I do have fog lights and the wiring harness for them are behind a metal plate on the plastic bumper, you have to undo 8 bolts to get the plate off so you can remove the harness. Then I had to modify the harness for the new fog lights so I could attach them, basically snipped off the factory connectors and used some heat shrink wire wraps. Not hard but took some time. The real PITA was attaching the DV8 bumper, you have 6 bolts that you have attach using the factory mounting points, lots of fun trying to work in a pretty confined space. I recommend at least 3 people for attaching it, you need two people to hold the bumper in place with one person underneath to attach the bolts. You can get by with 2 because that's all I had but 3 would have made it much easier. My only real complaint for DV8 was the instructions, they only explain how to remove the metal bumper not the plastic. I found some instructions from Addictive Desert Designs which explained how to remove both. Kind of funny because I think ADD and DV8 are owned by the same parent company.

Looks good. I’ve been eyeing it as well. When you get a chance post a couple more pics including a side view. Thx.

Where did you get it, and how long did it take? I can't seem to find one in stock (haven't checked directly with DV8 yet).

Looks great. I'm thinking about the same thing. What pods did you go with? I was wondering if Diode S3s would fit. You decided not lightbar? Could you get a connector for the fog lights so there is no splicing? Was it a 2 pin connector?
