Parasitic draw, no constants I can figure, park overnight, sometimes dead most times fine. Has happened 3 times over the last 2 weeks. Dealership tested and found nothing. 2023, 400ish miles. Ford provided apps only.

Any ideas or thoughts please. TIA

So dead but will start with a boost? Have you confirmed battery voltage w/ a meter? Any aftermarket accessories added? Have you checked all battery connections? Many have reported loose connections from the factory.

The one case of this I know of was actually caused by some type of ground rodent chewing on a wiring harness that is exposed under the vehicle near the drive shaft. Caused multiple dead batteries, appeared as a phantom parasitic draw and took the dealership multiple repair attempts to find it.

Vehicle would run fine, no errors. If the driver let it sit more than a day or two, dead battery. Ford replaced the battery 2x thinking it was defective but no luck.

Is this your problem? Eh, I have no clue. Just an FYI.

After dead, shows 4.2 volts. No aftermarket accessories. Someone on another forum suggested bad battery terminal from the factory. Thx!

Was just in to the dealership. I hope they had connections checked. Thanks for the input.

Best thing to do is disconnect the positive lead from the battery, put an amp meter between your positive post and the wire (disconnected) from that post. You should be able to measure that current draw. Then pull one fuse at a time. then reinstall it if the draw is still active. Go one by one until the draw stops. This will identify the circuit that is drawing power.

I feel your pain. Had dead battery issues on 2019 Suburban and dealer could never find the cause. After the 4th time (and 3rd battery replaced) I had it towed into the dealership because I wanted it dead when it arrived. They still couldn't figure out the cause. Manager contacted an engineer at Chevy that wasn't assigned to my case. That guy had a case that when the vehicle was in sub zero temps the battery would die. That is what was happening to mine. Turns out the drivers seat power control module was draining the battery but only if it was below zero. They replaced it, we took it back to our cabin in below zero temps and it was fixed! Next, I started shopping for a Bronco!

So figure out a way to get your dealerships Service Dept manager to make some phone calls to Ford engineers that he has worked with in the past, that might get you the answers you need.

Might be a good idea to take it to a battery specialist store. Read a couple forum posts on other Ford forums, dealer tested battery said it was fine. Took it to a battery specialist and they found things wrong with the battery. At least then you'll know if it's a battery or an electrical issue.

How are you measuring the voltage? 4.2V, I'd highly suspect a defective battery. Furthermore, any battery that has been drained that low is now compromised and will never fully recover.
