Yeah that was a solid save there. Thanks for the help and the offer to hop on the phone and figure it out. Awesome Bronco community.
How did you fix it. I had the dealer install it and all was well. Then I got to messing with it and installed the software again accidentally. Once it started doing it I left it alone. Now I have service engine soon and 4x4 system errors ?

Did you try connecting the procal, scrolling to the AWD menu, and selecting relearn AWD?

I’m having a similiar issue once the ProCal was programmed by a dealership. Errors came about an hour after I picked up my bronco. The following errors came up along with driving issues. Was on the freeway and Bronco began to be jerky, wouldn’t let me go above 70 mph. Felt like it would brake on its own then would release but would continue being jerky. Code’s currently on display are… service advanceTrac, pre collision assist not available, Park aid fault. Went to dealer and the service advisor indicated maybe I should just unprogram it. At minimum he sayed I had to reset to see if the programming was causing the issue. Any thoughts on my errors and why?

I have not but does it seem like that would be causing the issues and error codes I’m seeing? Initially I was getting the errors but not the jerky driving and was told it may be the tire Rev/miles which I changed from the dealers 660 to 598 (per my tire mfr’s response on Nitto Ridgegrappler size 35x12.5/ 17 ). Once I updated the Rev/mile it then got worse, meaning the jerky driving.

I did not have the jerky driving, though I had some of the errors. And I was in reduced power mode. I would give it a shot and see if some of the errors are causing an issue which leads to odd driving. If it doesn’t work, then maybe we had different issues.

Hello All,
I installed the Procal tuner and tune but getting error codes as well. Thanks to this forum and thread I was able to clear the service wrench lights with the AWD relearn but I’m still getting a U0422 code and my stability control says it needs to be serviced.
Also after driving about 50 miles yesterday, I noticed the CC doesn’t work and my Speedo is Way Off. I adjusted to the 548 revs per mile for my 37’s but at 70mph on Speedo I’m closer to 80mph on GPS.
Any advice or tips?

You can't set the Revs/mile any less than 579 or you get this.

548 sounds like it would be for 40's ... my 38's measured true at 562 via GPS, but I run at 579 (slighly under sized - I'm about 1.5 MPH off at 70 MPH) so I can keep cruise control. Most people are running 580-590 for 37's.

(note: revs/mile works backwards - a lower number for a larger tire)

Yeah - these numbers for Speedo cal are best taken as suggestions - whenever I go with the GPS app I always end up tweaking them, sometimes considerably. Especially if you are doing it via Forscan (mm diameter)

I have a feeling that the Ford speedometer is not really calibrated to a mile as 5,280 ft - but more like “whatever we feel like” - and so long as it’s a constant that doesn’t change you can find a value that will work.
