All Braptors, F150s, etc. through 2026 have ESE enabled from the factory. You can hear it with your radio off. To me the down shifts in sport mode when driving aggressive are a lot more pronounced with fake engine sound - that’s how I verify when I’ve turned it off.

I wish Ford would add an ESE control option to their on-board software that could be accessed via the touch screen settings menu. Besides Enable/Disable it could include a volume control and maybe even a section of GOAT modes where it was used.

Can anyone confirm whether the 2025 Bronco Raptor has fake or enhanced engine sound enabled?
I'm curious about this as well. I have a '26 and just turned it off. That said, I don't think it had it to begin with. I haven't driven it since the change. But will report back when I do.

2026 Bronco Raptors definitely have it. You can tell mostly when up and down-shifting in sport mode and the engine noise is exaggerated with all the windows up. I did before and after testing after toggling ACM 727-01-01

ok. Good to know. I’ll try it in the different modes.

So I got more time with the ESE turned off. It may be just me, but it seems that I now hear more bass than previous. It’s both more robust and goes lower in frequency.

One other question. Did you turn off ANC in the DSP module?
DSP 783-01-01, *xxx-xxxx-xxxx
Enable (D) Disable (C) ANC (Active Noise Cancellation)
