Hello, I have seen posts were some have removed the fender decals and was wondering when you did if you could tell it used to be there based on a difference in the paint color, an outline of the decal or anything like that.

The decal just seems out of place to me and I would like to remove it but not if it would be noticeable that it was removed. That would be something I would focus on and it would bug me.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Took mine off the day after I brought it home. Could not tell it was ever there.

Came off easy after a little hairdryer heat.

I removed mine within a month or so of delivery and couldn’t tell whatsoever that they had ever been there.

Yep, remove it quick and there's no paint worries. @Lindy08 is right, hit it with a hair dryer, heat gun, or park it in the sun on a hot day and it'll peel right off with a little care.

I ended up putting mine on my beer fridge in the garage, seemed a good spot

Mine popped off no problem using a plastic spatula, just make sure you're not pressing into the paint. I immediately put it on wax paper so I can put it on something someday.

Came off easy with no visible evidence it was ever there. Good luck!

I did the same before PPF install. Now, for the horse, the sticky tape is damaged and I need to find a good brand double sided tape - 3M ? Also, cut to shape with a scalpel around the outline ?

Yeah, peel away, you’re good. I didn’t even have to use heat or anything, just dug my thumbnail under a corner.

I’ve had mine since November and just took them off last week. One of them came off perfectly with no residue, the other came off but left a good bit of residue. Goo Gone took care of the rest!

I didn’t use a heat gun or anything, but the car had been sitting outside in 100 degree temps all day so it was a warm surface for sure.
