FINALLY was able to get out for a bit yesterday...
Has anyone found or made anything to break up the black dash on the onyx interior?
I love that interior, but wish they would have kept the silver/gray inlay from the initial pics they released.

I wasn't thrilled with all the black either so found these on Amazon. Not perfect, but a very good low-cost solution and it does what I wanted, which is to break up all the black in the middle console area in one's field of view. I've been very happy with the matte carbon fiber look; I did not add anything to the steering wheel or the doors since they are silver already.

I would consider that set in silver. I also thought about getting a replacement dash trim piece to replicate the original mock up.

So this is the FE right front/lower dash part number.

I don’t see a color designation on it. How would we know if it would be black or gray/metal if we ordered it?
Edit: Called a local Ford dealership. They said the part is a little over $600 and comes in molten metal (the color in the navy pier interior).
I may pick up a black interior FE and switch that dash panel over to the molten metal. The thing is, he's not sure what is involved with replacing the piece.

Mines been in the shop with the tailgate fix for over a month now. That said, I may part with mine as well when the Ineos arrives, allegedly late fall.
I haven’t had any real issues with my FE, but I went ahead and ordered my Ineos Grenadier. I didn’t realize that they’d be arriving so quickly! It’ll be a tough decision.
