After a day of mulling it over, I emailed my dealer and am having them switch my FE over from A51 to lightning blue.

This thread is what pushed me over the edge.

I still do really love A51. It seems like that is the most popular color by pretty far based on polls I see (with CG in second place).

In the end silver/gray/black/white will take over I bet after they get through the reservations and such. In general, I think there is a bias on these types of forums (bronco and jeep) for people to prefer the 'different' colors opposed to the 50 shades of gray.

For those still interested in the MIC. Here’s the first picture I’ve seen from this angle, showing the contrast of the black grill and MIC. I order a MOD, but I don’t hate this look. After seeing this, I might actually prefer the MIC. It looks more rugged, and I like the idea of a MIC to reduce scratches.

Sorry if this has been asked but is there any confirmation that rock rails are included on the 4 door FE? It's a B&P option still

For those of you who ordered/interested in the mod top or on the fence between the two available options.

Looks like the newest remake of the MiC is a few shades darker giving it a more balanced look overall and closer to black.

Mod sounded good until they released photos, def doesn’t work with most colors.

From my understanding all FE orders will be delivered August or September. I'm pretty certain they aren't going to have a FE that is MY22. Hence FE 2021

basically late availability which probably means end of summer ready to build. I’d ask your dealer about timing to be 100% certain.

Talk that interior isn’t late but tops are.

I guess i was thrown off by "all FE orders". Was wondering if there was something in the original post that suggested even a navy/pier mic FE wouldn't come until aug/sept. Which would be odd to me.

My understanding is navy isn’t delayed not sure about MIC top though

I actually really like how MIC turned out with Rapid. I would be totally okay with it. I don't really like the contrast between the windows and MIC, but the black roof will clash with the molded fenders, so it's a compromise either way you go.

Personally think I'm still going to wait for the mod top. Already waiting for the interior, and I want those removable windows.

I am really trying to gauge how realistic it will be for me to use these, the same way i wonder how often i will have nothing in the cargo area and take off the doors and place in the back.

I have. Received it about 30 minutes after the dealership placed the order.
