I was looking for a functional quick way to protect the Bronco when doors are removed. Unfortunately, this product misses in just about every way.

Materials: 1
This is very light fabric, lighter than a typical camping tent. I doubt this would last more than a year with any moderate use. 2ndly the straps, buckles and clips are light weight and under sized. They don't appear to be capable of holding the cover on in any more than light winds.

Design: 2
The foundation of the design seems solid but it was poorly executed. The top only will fit under a very specific conditions. Namely, everything must be removed from the truck to properly deploy the cover. Obviously doors removed, soft top must be removed (not just folded down. You cannot have ditch lights or light bar installed. With the top still installed the cover will not cover inside of the truck. The back is exposed and the top of the cover sags in the middle and will definitely collect water during a rain event.

Build and quality control: 1
Buckles were installed backwards so you have to twist them 180 degrees to tighten and release the straps. There are supposed to be 3 straps on the 4 door cover for the door coverage. There was a missing strap on the passenger side.

I would have hoped the cover for $300+ would be more flexible in the ability to be used in probably the most used configuration. Namely, doors off, soft top on. It would best if the cover could be deployed with the soft top up to provide a frame to keep water from pooling. Bottom line if your looking for a cockpit cover keep looking.

Yup,I read the details of this cover. I saw top needed to be fully removed and on top of it,its really just a dust cover. Im sure it would holdup to a little rain but as fabric stretches not for long. Jeeps have tons of options. Im sure bronco will too

Funny. Mine works great. Fits perfectly. With doors on and with ditch lights too.

I think it's targeted at hard top (with the top off), and fits fine on those (as long as it's the right size), mine included.
It is pretty light weight compared to what I use on motorcycles, doesn't seem to be intended as a constant cover, just something to throw on when you're out with the top off and want to keep light rain/dust off/out

Yeah, it isn’t perfect but it will do for now. Folding the mirrors back helps get it on then pop ‘‘em back out. Tuck it behind the ditch lights and use the wipers to hold it down.

I soaked it in waterproofing agent and
left it to dry after blotting up the excess. We’ll see how well it works.
