Ford dealership applies $69,554 markup on F-150 Lightning

Lol, Ford can’t handle it’s dealers at all.

In Florida at Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, a Ford F-150 Lightning Pro trim, which is retailed at $69,554, is having its market price doubled thanks to a markup applied by the dealership. The cost of the truck after accessories and the market adjustment eclipses $140,600.

Money is still money spent by a sane person or an idiot. I don’t see why it would bother the dealership.

I’m wondering how a Lightning Pro is $69K, mine has all the packages, spray in bedliner, and tailgate step for $46.5K. This must be a fleet Pro model with the larger battery to have that MSRP, not a truck available to regular consumers.

My local dealership has pre sold their mannequin for a big ADM, hence will not be allowing test drives or other mannequin activities. It will basically sit for the 6 months and the GM will put on the required mileage. My build got pushed from week of 6/20 to 7/4, but I do have a VIN.

Wow, and I thought a local dealer asking $110K for a Lightning was insane. Of course this same dealer somehow has been routinely posting Broncos for sale at $15K over sticker.
