Ford Performance Exhaust

FP has two axle-back exhausts, M-5230-BR3SC and M-5230-BR3. Are they both Bolar S-Type just with difference clearance? The sound clip on FP website only says M-5230-BR3SC. Also looking at Borla Atak, don’t know if that is too much for a 2.3L.

The FP exhaust options are the same muffler but different tip options. It’s supposedly similar to the borla s type per other forums. I got the high clearance option which you can see in the video. Do note that I have the 2.7L engine so the sound will be different.

Can you post a shot from the side and straight back low enough to see the tips. I would like to see how it all fits in.

The AFE amd ATAK are hands down the best sounding however have you ever been irritated by those important guys racing in the streets in FWD civics. If so thats what your Bronco will sound like. At my age silence bis bliss.

Unfortunately my bronco is at the dealership waiting to get a new front drive shaft. I should hopefully have it back by the end of the week to get you pictures.

I have the Borla Atak axle back w/black tips on my 2.3. I've had Borla on both my Mustangs.
IMHO, you can't go wrong with Borla but everyone has their own taste in sound. It is a bit loud on start up but quickly tones down. Good luck on which ever you choose.

Why’d you sell? Did you sell? Is this with the downpipe?

Funny how touring sounds good on the 2.3 but sounds like chit on 2.7
Had to modify mine to fit and it had constant drone at 1600 rpm and up. Cost me few hours labor installing, getting new hangers then uninstalling and $140 bucks shipping it back to them for there mistake
