Ford Performance Hood Struts installed

I like that mount-near-the -firewall style of hood struts.

I do not like the style that runs from the middle of the fender and blocks the side fender access. That style is not worth a wooden nickel.

Found a pair of Redline/IAG/Steeda/RC/Ford style hood struts on Amazon for half the price. Had these for a year now. Workgreat. Flip the release button, give it a light push, and up it goes. Grab the latch loop, a mild yank, and closed. Has never disappointed.

I've had them for a couple years now. So far, the front clip has not discharged itself from the rest of the vehicle.

I have the similar Redline Quicklift struts that I paid about the same for. This is one of the easiest and most beneficial modifications you can make to your Bronco. The only thing I'd rate higher is an updated oil drain plug, like the Valvomax or similar (if you change your own oil).

I went with the Steeda setup. I also went with the Ronin oil plug as I do change my own oil. Love them both.

One of the first things I bought for mine and absolutely love them! Show that ford pride, just be sure to wipe them down throughout the year, the rust will find them otherwise!
