IAG Hood Struts Installed

Installed the IAG hood struts tonight. The install was super straightforward and easy, and took about 20 minutes. They work awesome, and lift the hood about 7 1/2 inches higher than the stock prop rod. This makes working underneath the hood so much easier. I highly recommend this relatively inexpensive modification!

Nice. I have the same ones. One thing to note for folks, the hood will pop open rather quickly with these on once you release the latch. If you have a low overhead garage ceiling keep that in mind. The hood goes higher with these struts on then when using the factory hood prop.
