Christian fit me in for an install yesterday. Saw a nice Wildtrack there, which they had just installed the Baja Kits long travel suspension.

So I ended up going to a place in Claremont, CA. They charged me $156 for the install since I had the unit. Cheapest I found it. It took an hr. He took before and after readings seen bellow.

You can do it yourself but you no longer have the 3 yr / 36 mo warranty. Interesting.
I saw someone in the comments there post that it's not CARB approved in California, or it was until 2023. I am bit dubious about these comments and, I DO NOT have the facts. If someone knows the truth, please update us.

Other interesting tidbits ...
- Some dealers won't install this (not sure why)
- Some dealers can't install this (don't have the resources)
- Some dealers will allow a hybrid install (your PC, they push the buttons = lower cost)
- Ongoing updates to the software is expected (so ... if you don't do this yourself, you'll have to make additional arrangements with your installer)

I just had the FPP Calibration Tune installed onto my '22 Everglades on 2/2/24 at Mossy Ford Pacific Beach in San Deigo, CA. Cost $225.
Dealership installed the FPP calibration and completed both the seatbelt latch plate and wiper software update recalls in under an hour.

I just found that Capitol Ford in San Jose will do it. $825 for the tuner and tune. $295 (min) to install it at one hour, more if something goes wrong.
Update. Mission Valley Ford, a truck / commercial dealer in San Jose, will work with you to install the program at their site ensuring things are done to maintain warranty. I think this means, bring your laptop and they will look over your shoulder. Very cool.
