Anyone encounter a situation where Ford says your vehicle was delivered but the dealer says it wasn't? I received an email from Ford last week saying it was delivered. I called the help line today and they confirmed it was delivered per their systems. Tracking links don't work for me anymore since the system thinks it has been delivered.
I went to the dealer today and he assured me they don't have the bronco. They later got in touch with the railyard and were told that Ford hasn't released my bronco for shipping. Getting stuck at the railyard is one thing, but having the status show as delivered is what concerns me. The bronco help line support I spoke with today said dealers can take over orders 10 days after delivery. I don't think that will happen in my case as I've been constantly communicating with my dealer about picking it up as soon as possible, but you never know.
I thought someone else in the forum had a similar experience but I can't find the thread. I've come across a posting in a dodge forum of something similar happening because the battery died and it took almost a month to get their truck from the same railyard (Pearland).
I'm going to try and call the railyard to confirm myself but I don't know how much success I'll have calling them.
