Well, the doors and roof come off regardless of whether or not said roof is soft top or hard top. The hard top is also quieter, less drafty and makes it easier to keep the interior cool/warm... How silly...
And, while I realize that it is purely subjective, the soft top looks like crap.
I did not do the same setup as her but she helped me pick out what I did end up with based on her experience with the Bronco.
I put Kicker CS speakers in the dash, kick-panels and rear pods powered by a Kicker Key 200.1 mounted under the steering wheel and then I put a downfiring Kicker box in...
When I initiated a chat on Crutchfield's website I was super lucky and ended up getting Brooke as my advisor. She was awesome to say the least. This was my first car audio andventure but I had no issues installing everything we picked out and I could not be happier with the result. Ended up...
I don't need any help removing our hard top. I also don't compare options on a vehicle that's built a following over 80 years to vehicle in it's second year.
This also my plan, but I've been looking to see how plausible it is as well. My Wife's Flex has the amp under the drivers seat and the sub boxa ll the way behind the third row. My guess is that the run from the Bronco's dash to the cargo area just behind the rear seat isn't much farther, if at...
Replacing interior speakers with Kicker CS 4" and 6.75" for kick panels powered by Kicker Key 200. Kicker down firing box with 12" sub and passive radiator on a Kenwood Excelon 500w mono and a sub control knob. All the assorted power kits and speaker wire, connectors, base blockers for dash, etc.
Huge shoutout to Brooke @broncogal21 at Crutchfield! I had some questions about which amp to pair with a sub box and was lucky enough to have her catch my chat request. She got me all straightened out and we turned a $3000 shop install into a $1200 Crutchfield order. I have some work to do but...
That harness is just for the speaker connections, correct? You still had to run power through the firewall? Sorry if its a silly question but there is no real description of the harness on the website.
It finally showed up at the dealership on the 25th, so over 2 weeks of sitting. They let us take it home and then spent two more days figuring out the mid year price match before we signed on the 29th.
I find the section with average wait time and the longest wit time pretty interesting. Can you add how long the time in status is for the searched vehicle as well? I have a feeling mine might be the one sitting the longest lol.
Ours has been sitting in Pearland for over a week now and nobody is of any help. I guess the only recourse I have is to wait patiently, as much as I hate to.
Ours is sitting in the Pearland yard since Thursday with no updates. From the spreadsheet it looks like only two in Texas have been delivered so far... both near dallas.
I think it was the 3/21 Build group that first observed window stickers changing and we definitely saw it in the 3/28 group.
We did have an issue with the dealer. They had no idea what we were talking about at first but we asked them to contact their Ford Rep and finally got the info they needed.
