Speaking of the FordPass app.. I noticed some differences between iOS & Android (e.g. Horn & Lights button.)

One thing that drives me nuts is that the Android version lets me lock & unlock doors, but doesn't tell me if the doors are already locked or unlocked. Does iOS tell you the state of the door locks?

The reason why they would not do that is because every time you lock or unlock your vehicle, your vehicle would have to notify your app. What happens if your app is not open? So now, your vehicle has to check when your app is open and if open then tell it that the door is unlocked or locked.

Too many checks and request going back and forth.

That's not how it works. Whenever the state of the door changes, the vehicle sends its state to the servers. Servers push the state to the apps. Vehicle doesn't care if you have an app installed or not, it still sends it would still send its state. Also, a lot easier than sending its location, which it already does.

Every Ford I have ever had shows a pic of vehicle in the app BUT not my Wildtrak (bottom pic below)? what's the deal?

My pic shows up on my app for my 2021 Badlands.

Have you got your vehicle? Or only putting in the serial number you have been given?

Same for me. Even has an image for my daughter's 09 Fusion but not my Badlands.

Just checked mine and still nothing

Mine shows my badlands for the first time today.

No Horn/Lights button for me either. I'm still not sure how it happened but the image of my Bronco in the app has no top!
