I have a ‘24 Badlands 4dr 2.7 that I want to get FORscan so I can change some things that I’ve read about others being able to change. I’ve used namely Snap-On scan tools since 1981 when they put rudimentary computers on cars and have progressed through the years until I retired in 2020.
I see there are several versions out there, from Bluetooth with my iPhone to others that plug into a laptop. I searched and found these that are recommended from the FORscan people.
What are you using? Is it user friendly? What brand name and cost is it?
Thanks for everyone’s input.

I have the corded one in your second picture. Works perfectly and I have never had any problems with it. It is one of the connectors recommended by the FORScan people: https://forscan.org/download.html

Yes, I went there also and they recommend both of these. I just want to make sure I can make a few changes with one or both of them.

The one you refer to is the corded one but you have it in a Bluetooth version or can you make this one a Bluetooth version with their app?

I have the Bluetooth OBDLink MX+ that I use for reading codes and monitoring different things while driving. I have a different corded OBD to USB that I use with FORScan to read and write with my computer. The OBDlink Ex is the more stable option for using, I wouldn’t want to worry about the Bluetooth connection dropping/having interference while trying to make changes with FORScan.

Ahh, I understand now. Yes, I want to make some changes, not just monitor. I had a feeling it was like this, but the phone app with the Bluetooth version threw me off.
Thanks a lot!

I use the BT version and it works great.
Cool, but can you go in and make some changes through your phone or can you monitor readings only?
