If your running fox you know all about the rear sag and how soft the fox factory springs are that come on the Elite kit. I absolutely love the way they ride but just a little too soft in the rear, they bottom out quite easily.

The install is pretty easy just make sure you decide on how much preload you need before putting them back on the Bronco. I didnt find the directions till I was installing the 2nd spring. You want no thread showing. If you have any thread showing it’ll probably be way too much unless you have lots of gear loaded in the back or a hardtop and RTT. I did find out you can make adjustments on the rears without taking them off by squeezing some spring compressors in there, you can compress it enough to make adjustments.

I ended up with no more sag. I’ve got 1.5 inches of rake now. The ride still feels just as good as it did maybe just a tad firmer but honestly I couldn’t tell that much. This is also on 3 clicks up on low speed and high speed compression settings which was the factory preset. I turned them back down to that preset to see if I could feel any difference. But in these new directions it says the preset should be set at 6 clicks up on both. So. I’m still need to make some adjustments to those settings and find my new comfort zone. Fox says 22% firmer and I’d say they are definitely that. I’m happy with them and the install wasn’t bad at all. I highly recommend the upgrade fox should have sent us these coilovers with the HD springs installed in the first place.

I should’ve filmed my second coilover because I was a lot faster and smoother because I just did one of them, but the whole job didn’t take very long. I'm sure you'll have some settling of the rear springs, but can't you add some preload to the front to help with the rake.... assuming you'd rather have less? How much rake did you have before the spring swap?

I think it’s fine as is might settle a half inch. Once I load all my off roading gear and tools it’ll be just right. It use to sit low in the rear.

Great looking rig. Off the shelf coil springs will do that as we all have some weight from additional mods. I used Accutune to advise with Spring choices, but even still you may have to swap out front or rear coils while getting dialed in.

While these Bronco's are pretty badass stock, it's amazing what a proper set of dialed in coilovers allows these things to do, especially at higher speeds.

Interesting, I’ve been waiting for these.

Is Fox offering HD springs for the front also?

I have the Eibach 3.75” coils with the accutune spacer clip adapters. The coils are awesome, but Accutune’s adaptors are junk because they don’t stay in place. Mine have repeatedly fallen out even when replaced with new. I believe my current Eibach springs are rated at 550lbs and 250lbs.

Hi, question for you. I just ordered a set of the HD springs, I installed my Fox’s this week and got 0 lift with the factory rear springs. How much lift did you end up with in the rear after you installed the HD springs? I’m a little nervous after seeing your pictures that I may end up with more than I want, hoping for about 2 1/2 inches like the OE’s were supposed to give. I’m in a 2Dr, Hard Top of course, and will be adding a 37 on the tailgate soon. I see it’s been a few weeks since you posted these pics, did they settle more?

Mine did settle a little more but I still have a small amount of rake which I think is fine because it rides a lot better off road now. You being a 2 door might be okay with the standard springs because less weight.

Did you ever get the springs on? How much rake did you end up with?
haven't gotten around to it yet, will update when I do and let you know (I plan to adjust fronts to get the truck leveled as well)

Thanks! I thought the same about the standard Fox spring but I got no lift at all with them and I’m still going to add another 20 pounds or so to the tailgate when I swap tires. My HD springs should be here tomorrow, I’m going to install them with the least amount of preload possible I guess. 🤞
