We see all these cool videos, of Broncos just romping as they please wild and free. Like God intended.

But in this overpopulated American wasteland where does one freewheel?? I live in Texas, (for now). I've driven down my fair share of forest roads, and a bit of offroading etc. Hiking trail access roads, and even across personal ranches. But across this nation, even MOAB, doesn't have a ton of open, routeless, freewheeling locations.

How does one find these? Do they really exist (legally).

Get away from the population centers out here in the west. Agree that everything is overpopulated these days, but true remote areas do exist. Real ones with no cell coverage, or Jeep charging stations

@tlubull good question, one I have myself. My current truck's use is really for motoring through the mountain roads w/ snow and ice on powder days in Tahoe. My Bronco will get the same use, but it'd be great to know if there's a list of recommended places to romp, learn, and maybe camp that our fellow pals on this forum could point us to.

Since you are near lake Tahoe check out the loon lake area. It's not too far, still some free camping up there, and everything from logging roads to the Rubicon up there. Feel free to keep me in mind if you have any questions. I go up there often

Awesome, thanks! Will def keep all that in mind. I've got a couple young'uns that are at a great age to start camping, off-roading, etc... and all the Cub Scout stuff that I know they'll dig. My main (or a close second!) reason for getting this sweet new Bronco.
