Front license plate bracket?

I have a serious concern after seeing @BigBronco1 ’s beautiful rig that was just delivered. I went back and looked at all of the recent deliveries and his is the first I’ve seen with a front license plate installed. Not sure I like that location but after looking closely, I have no idea where it’s supposed to go. Where does everyone plan on mounting their front plate?

I like the shackle mount idea

The only thing I came up with was some sort of mount from the tow hook, offset so it clears the parking sensors and Intercooler / ACC sensors

Re: front plates. I did this whole waiting ordeal with my Lotus Elise in 2004. I was the first batch, blah, blah, blah.

When I went to pick it up, I saw a guy walking toward the car with a drill. I jumped in front of him and said 'what?". He was going to put the front plate on. I passed and threw it in my truck. In 16 years of ownership, I've been asked once by law enforcement where my front plate was. I said 'in the truck'. I showed them the plate and explained the car didn't offer the option for a USA-style plate. Got a sermon but no ticket.

I plan to do the same thing. I will explain that the way the Bronco was designed, the plate will block the airflow and damage the car. If I get one warning in 16 years, I'll be very happy.

It's required in my state but I'm not going to install it on the grill. I'll take my chances while I wait for something that fits lower down on the modular bumper. I can't imagine it will be too long before there is a better option available for the modular bumper.

the Bronco Rep at my dealer is in agreement that the front spot is dumb. They will order all Broncos with the mounting per state law but will not install them unless the customer requests it. I mentioned 2 bolts and some magnets to secure it to the lower skid plate.

I need to ask my dealer not to install it. I have driven my mustang for 4 years in Texas without the front plate and despite being pulled over twice it never came up.
