I was very interested also, because I like the Gobi, but not sure I will be keeping my rear bumper and was wondering what I'd do with the part that attaches to the bumper. Went to there sight and notice this one looks just like the one they make for the raptor. Think I might have found my new rooftop rack.
Bingo. I had the traditional version that attached by the rear bumper, then changed it to the Raptor style. It’s awesome. Well done @GOBI Racks

They are prototype beadlocks from SSW Off-Road. I’m doing some R&D for them.
Cool. Very nice looking wheels. I was confused as to why I couldn't find them on their website. Does your R&D consist of crawling tough trails at 5 psi?

whats in the boxes on the roof and how do you get the boxes down? DO you have a little crane? Or is it just lightweight stuff like wetsuits

Is that the WaterPORT you have mounted on the rack? How long have you had it on there? What’s your opinion on it?

It seems nice and I really like the concept. A few of the reviews on Amazon sound like it’s not the most durable. But I can never take those reviews too serious.

Definitely not, but I do track a lot of miles throughout various Texas trails, mostly mild though.

Yes it’s a WaterPort. I installed it last year and so far so good, it’s held up well in the Texas heat. It’s a good product but there’s a lot of alternatives for under $300 dollars, so shop around. I’ve seen a tremendous amount of products hit the market in the past 12-months.

I also have an 8 gallon onboard water system from Midnight Forest, it’s mounted on the rear of my Gobi. At 500 bones, it’s “okay” but definitely not great for what I paid.

The items inside are always changing with the season, different for fishing vs. waterfowl. It helps that I’m taller to reach the bins, but they also unlatch and come down.

I use a strapless mounting system from Roam Adventure Co.

Yes, that’s a 270 awning attached to my Gobi rack.

I'm not OP but I believe the cases are from Roam Adventure Co and the pullout "Tray" is from American Adventure Lab. I just got one of those cases for my Trailrax TRMR and love it. Definitely not cheap though.
