Hi. Is there anywhere that you could fully utilize the Raptor in NC? Is there anywhere on the coast where you could rip through sand, or abandoned mountain top mines where you could hit some humps, etc. Any ideas are appreciated!

I was placing my 2023 Wildtrak order the other day and asked about a Raptor fully expecting them to say no Raptors were allocated, but was told I could get one if I wanted. I ordered one, but not sure if I will go through with it. Obviously NC does not have deserts but I would love to find somewhere I could get some high speed and whoop over some humps at least.

Could always go to Fort Fisher or OBX and drive on the beach. There's also plenty of fire service / forest service roads in Pisgah/Linville/Brown Mt. Area.

We took ours out to Portsmouth Island in Sept. I had dogs and a load full so we didn't rip it but you would have miles of undisturbed beaches out there.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to hit the dunes out of state. Michigan, Little Sahara in Oklahoma or head to the wide open spaces out west.

I think the beaches are usually crowded and you can't jump the dunes. All of the fire roads I have been on up in the mountians are too narrow and busy to full send it. Maybe check out one of the off-road parks in NC, SC, or VA.
