Hardtop recycling program (2-door)

I really want a soft top for my two door. Hoping I won’t have to wait too long for an aftermarket solution. So for those of us who are basically getting a hardtop to weatherproof our vehicles for delivery, what’s the environmentally-friendly/economical solution? Won’t be much of a market for ‘um since we’ll all have one. How long will you store it before taking it to the dump?

Ford, please add this to build and price. I will wait till 10/1/20 if needed.??

Well, I’d take a spare so I could have a dark and light. Keep me in mind post delivery. Also, I have some experience in convertible installation so if you’re in my region we might be able to work out a trade

Hmm, now that I think about it, upgrading to modular might be a better way to recoup my money if I was to sell it to someone. But I’m to cheap to do that.

There will be a market for these sooner than you think. Throw it on eBay or Craigslist and give it some time. Somebody will bite.

Yea, I’d have a hard time getting rid of it(emotionally). I honestly like the look of the hardtop better. But the soft top would be way more fun and functional for me.

And just for fun I’ll just say it again. I’m shocked it’s not already a factory option. The satirical side of me says the reason is because they found out the wrangler soft top is an exact fit for the Bronco.?

This is what I thought when I saw those new pics today of the grey hardtop... looks kind of like the Florida sun faded it over the years. We will call it retro looking and it comes standard so I’m happy?

I'm not riding around with that lame gray top. Hoping instead Ford will offer a shrink-wrap delivery option so I can wait for the aftermarket to catch up.
