Hill start assist turns back on after updates

I have a 2-door Manual Base Bronco. The Hill start assist is terrible, so I turn it off. After every update (I think) Hill start assist gets turned back on. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have not found a way to find out when or what the software version

is.

They now have it turn back on after every start up of my bronco. WTF Ford. I’m making the ducking payments. Let me drive it. And when the clutch burns up, will you warranty it.

I've also noticed that the hill start assist turns itself back on, seemingly after an update has installed.
