How to mount bass knob in dash?

Need to mount an ACR-1 bass knob. It comes with a mounting bracket, but it can also be taken apart and mounted directly on the dash. Any examples of where people have mounted them, and how hard it was?

When I had mine installed it was so well hidden, I had to ask the guy where he placed it.

You can barely see it when sitting in the drivers seat, yet it’s easily accessible. This is located above and to the left of the wireless charging pad.

mines in glove box and has safety bracket around it

You could install it basically behind the usb door (when opened) down in the center console. The hole could later be plugged with a rubber grommet and still look ok.

I've mounted my GMRS Mic plug on one side and my Brake controller on the other. Easy to get to, ton of room behind, ect.

The one benefit of where 604Bronco mounted is that little piece could easily be replaced as a hole where every other location would have to get a plug to cover the hole.
