I have a dented capable bumper on a Heritage Limited I want to replace with a new OEM. I know there are bolts behind the sensor covers to remove the bumper and sensor harness plugs to disconnect. . Are the fog lights separate or included? Are there any plastic trim pieces that need to be removed and replaced? Does anyone have a schematic or steps I need to follow?

It's been so long ago, but going from memory you just need to un-plug the sensors and the fog lights. The fog lights are bolted to the bumper so you can just mess with them with the bumper on the ground. The only bolts you need to get the bumper off are the 3 bolts holding each D-ring on so a total of 6. You will find the rewiring of all the sensors to take the most time as they were clipped in pretty often behind various crevasses.

Agree with @Bikeric ... only thing I have to add is there's only one disconnect for the foglights, the plug is on the drivers side. I don't have the sensors on mine so don't know how hard those are to remove.

You should not have any trouble. It’s been a while since I removed mine to swap out lights. There were no surprises and it was really quick and easy.

Even an accountant can do it. Ask me how I know....they are heavy, so support on 5 gal buckets helps. While it's off, put some real foglights on there from @Diode Dynamics . Easy stuff.

The replacement bumper is just the bumper shell. Bumper comes off by detaching main wire harness, removing the snap on sensor covers, then detach the wire, remove 6 bolts under sensor cover, and, with an extra hand, remove the bumper. Easy. You need to remove the plastic shroud on each end, the fog light with bracket, the tow hook assembly and the wiring harness. Then reassemble everything on new bumper shell and put back on frame

. Hardest part was keeping the screw retainers in place.
