I THINK I got a good deal...am I wrong?

I picked up my new Black Diamond 2dr SAS today and I think I negotiated hard for something hard to move from sticker at all. I'd love to hear other opinions or stories to see if I did ok.

MSRP on 2023 2dr SAS Black Diamond with the 2.7 and Mid Package - $55,140
TTL and all the fun stuff (no warranty or add ons) brought it to $58,590 all in.

I ended up with a $2,350 rebate, a $250 discount, free window tint, and one of those backpacks with the fire extinguisher and shovel. (plus a full tank of gas). All in cost to me was $56,240.

I walked out happy (which I suppose is the only real judgement I should be looking for)...but I'd like to know if I could have done things better. At this point it's irrelevant I suppose, but I feel like I should have lobbied for a hat.

How have others fared with their buying experience?

Fair point about what matters. That is and should be the only measure.

I did have to order it to get the rebate. It was from Ford, not the dealership.

How long ago did you order? Was there no price protection? If you ordered, the price paid should have been what it was when you ordered minus the rebate. PP covers model year increases after you ordered the '23.

Ordered on March 28, 2023...picked up yesterday. As I understood it, I was price protected on the MY23, and still got the rebate.

To all who are saying If I'm happy I should be happy...you're totally correct. I'm frankly surprised that they moved at all with swag or rebates or discounts at all. My friends got a 4dr Outer Banks SAS and did not get a rebate. They ordered the week after I did and picked theirs up earlier.

That got me thinking...did I do well or just the norm. I don't know the specifics of their deal and it's easier to ask the anonymous people here who are more experienced than asking them.

Nice choice by the way! You'll love the sportyness of the 2 door if you don't need the extra space. Has a super nice short turning radius. Do yourself a favor though and get some kind of mudflap protection. Those SAS tires really throw the rocks. I've have them and still got my first giant door ding last week. Wasn't even near any stones at the time. Must have been a straggler hiding in the tread.

Your recommendation is a lot like the others here. I've learned a ton from these forums...the mudflaps (Mabetts) arrive tomorrow.
Got those, satin black old school Bronco logo to replace the Black Diamond stickers, black satin bronco badge instead of the chrome in the rear and black satin Bronco logo for the grill (StickerFab) and roll bar speakers (SSV). I've got a good weekend coming up!

Appreciate all the good info and people on this site...lots of great info and it's made my process so much easier. I'm happy to pay that back moving forward.

Did not come with the subwoofer. I got an additional $250 off from that. The sub 'discount' was on the sticker. It's a shame, but thanks to the forums I've got a plan to put one in.
