yeah, the place went seriously down hill, no joke, after that started. That is what I noticed was the inflection point when the previously close knit and friendly forum got salty. Likely because Ford's actions at that point and beyond seemed designed to foment discontentment with the process in the extreme (the delay in the launch)

For those who don't know, the inside joke was that pineapple pizza was ordered by someone who then got encouraging news from Ford, then people started putting up various memes featuring pineapple pizza* in a superstitious attempt to get further good news from Ford (which has never happened again, so it was a moot point to continue trying)


*as a statement of scientific fact; putting pineapple on a pizza is impossible as it instantly makes it not pizza.
