There's a 12 cubic foot difference in space behind the 2nd row in 2dr vs 4dr. Just an issue of there not being enough real estate for it.Any word on why it isn’t available for the two door

Haha well that's why I ask....awful large panel for the jack and wrench. But oh man the Bronco comes with donuts!? Yum
You found it! Well done. Bookmarked1
This is the 2-door
Pray for aftermarket solutions. The cargo area apparently isn’t deep enough to make the depth of the shelf worthwhile.
They are also stating you can stand on the shelf, so there may be a limitation with the shallow depth to how much weight it can support.
After the bears and coyotes nibble off your toes and feet while you are asleep and hanging off the open tailgate, you will fit better inside the next night.Just grabbed this picture from a Car and Driver article this morning. Photo was courtesy of Ford.

No clue, but you can bet the aftermarket will come up with something such as.Any word on why it isn’t available for the two door
Hmmm. So while one dimension in the camping thread shows width of 4'6", only 3'6" or so between wheel wells, which appear to be basically blocked off here. So only the width of the slider is all we get? I was hoping I could put a box in front of the wheel wells...guess not.Your welcome, it took years of experience and knowledge to learn how to use Google search for images. Since the BN interns have not gained that experience yet I present you with the two images to fill in the blanks. (/s) ?
Perfect for coroner vehicles. No clue, but you can bet the aftermarket will come up with something such as.

Man, they are proud of that thing aren't they. It needs some kind of top on it so it behaves like a drawer. That would also allow you to have storage space above it. Here is another one:No clue, but you can bet the aftermarket will come up with something such as.

Just remove the 4 tailgate d-rings to access the jack or carry it above.Assuming this is the normal strap to pull up to get to your tire changing tools & jack. Right? If so... what happens when we get the tailgate tray? Seems like this would no longer be accessible. I assume it's a hard mount & won't be liftable.
Of course you can get it and install it later. But if you make it a part of the build itself, it may delay production of it. I'm just going to pick mine up later. When I read late availability I think the manufacture has some valid issue like supply and demand. But, a fricken tailgate is now late availability!? Does this mean, that If I take delivery of my current Bronco that I cannot install the ford OEM tailgate later??
You had some to begin with??My confidence is waning. ?
For the amount of times I need those tools (I have never needed them yet. Knock on wood) I'm ok with having something over it that takes me a couple minutes to pull out. It's not like the tail-tray is welded in.Assuming this is the normal strap to pull up to get to your tire changing tools & jack. Right? If so... what happens when we get the tailgate tray?
