I do some of roading, but nothing really drastic, but after a snow storm 2ft I tried a couple trails.. wasn't sure at first but I went...four wheel mode did very well and I tried slippery mode, not sure if that made a difference...but when I locked the rears and I never tried the front locks I went right through, was impressed !

Any pics from the trail?

Slippery mode isn’t what you want since it is intended for packed snow and for ice. For deep snow, use Sand mode. Or manually engage 4Hi, lock the rear diff, like you did, AND turn off traction control.

We got 18" in our corner of NC. I took the Bronco into town a couple of times and was pretty impressed. I even did a few miles in 2WD through 12" of fluff on the unplowed road before I realized it reset from 4A after parking overnight.

My eyes were opened WIDE just by going to the Bronco Off-Roadeo. The day we were there. it was a nearly steady rain the entire day, so everything was slippery (rocks and mud). The Bronco was able to get unstuck no matter what the trail threw at it. For the most part, a little patience and knowledge will get you out of just about any situation, and for everything else, you just need a little assistance (recovery gear or AAA). I would definitely recommend going to one of these even if you NEVER plan on serious off-roading. You never know when Mother Nature will decide to test the limits of our Bronco's capabilities - even on what everyone considers 'safe' roads. Good Luck!
