Information Overload. Please help me understand preview to build date info

My dealer said they did not have any previews yesterday.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he said that the previews that were supposed to happen yesterday were being delayed to today. Whether that happened or not I don't know because I didn't check back with him and obviously I was not one of the previews if it did happen because he is Johnny-on-the-spot and would have called me. So sad.

Oh, my understanding is that total allocation is spread out over the MY...

So dealer A with 24 allocated units get 4 a month until MY22... Dealer B with 6 allocated units get 1 a month...

That's how my dealer explained it to me as well.

Is there any insight on builds with trailer hitches? My order has one, but I'd rather get one later if it means earlier build.......

7-13 @ 10:30 reservation, converted to order in January. Dealer got 17 allocations, 4 have build dates. I was the top reservation there. Someone else got the priority.

Mine got scheduled, and I had BD / Mid / Tow

Personally I wouldn't drop it because the corrosion protection and wiring hook-up is gonna be hard to match for the price.

Plus there is no knowing what caused it not to get scheduled. Could have been lux.
