Installed Soft Top, Back plastic panels not fitting properly?

I have a 2022 outer banks that came with hard top. I bought OEM soft top private party, after installing It, the original panels do not fit. Questions:

1. Are they supposed to be installed or left open?
2. Are there different panels avalible since it was not configured with a soft top?

Any help is appreciated it.

I’d just cut em and flame polish the cut. It’s such cheap soft plastic It’s easy to do

The soft top part is different as the top piece is not as deep to make room for the frame. Either trim to fit, buy the correct cover, or leave it off.
