I just purchased a lightly used (< 7000 miles) Wildtrack with a soft top. While washing her for the first time, I noticed the driver side rear top did not come all the way down to the Velcro on the back window. I pulled it up to look and then noticed there is a plastic trim piece that is ripped where the top fabric is stitched. I dropped by a local dealer and was told this would not be a warranty repair.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does it have the IAG hatch struts?
My rear window velcro isn't a perfect fit anymore either and it is due to the upward push of the struts on the rear frame portion.
To get it perfect I'd have to have someone velcro while I pulled the rear frame down to get it all straight.
Just a curiosity more than anything else with my question.

To me that ripped piece looks like it would allow more extra movement there in the corner, not less.

Either way, sucks to find it after the fact and it doesn't change your issue.
Hope you get some resolution!
